Québec Short Hops for FS2004
It should work in FS2002, try it it is free. Do not use the file in the Addon Scenery folder.
The airfield will then not list in your Flight Simulator. Here are the coordinates:

This scenery exists on my Québec road map but not in Microsoft's??? So, I made one.
It is a tricky airfield. You need a good short field plane to use it in its full version. The grass strip is pretty level but you will hit some tall grass and have to watch the trees........
CHICKEN FILES. Those are files that the less experience flyer of if the magnetos on your engine are not giving you full revs, you can use either or both of theses files to remove trees at the either or both end of the runway. Try it different ways. It is more fun not using them at all. So after some practice, remove them.
Even with the trees as they are, I can take off Bill Lyon's Cub at about half power no problem. The Tiger Moth though will need more then half power on the climb to clear the hill if you takeoff away from the water.
To use these files, simply insert one or both in:
xxxxxxx/Quebec SH9/scenery (see below)
You must restart your Flight Simulator each time you insert or remove a 'xxxxxx.bgl' file like those are
for the change to take place.

Québec Short Hop and Québec Bush sceneries are aimed at making VFR flying in Québec most pleasant and attractive as I can make it. So far, for FS9, I have created a few sceneries along the St.Lawrence river and also in the Beauce region and also in the Laurentians. These sites are close enough so you can hop from one to the other using the lighthouses and other aids I included.
I also have made other sceneries for the Montréal region. They are all shown on the enclosed map.
You can upload any of the sceneries, aircraft and aircraft textures if you make a search at AvSim for author Leon Louis.

I make all my Québec sceneries using the following mesh. It is freeware and very well made.
NOTE; IF YOU ARE NOT USING GILLES GAUTHIER'S FREEWARE MESH, (see installation below), I have no idea what this scenery will look like. It is free, so, try it.

KNOW ISSUES:(those lines are to keep the bug chasers and nit pickers happy
There are lots of candies on this scenery. Look at the pictures to make sure you find them all.
You may have problem seeing correctly the two barebone wings behind the old fuselage on the side of the hangar. I cannot help this, sorry, you may have to change your angle of view and still not see them well. The best I could do.
Nit pickers and bug chasers are NOT welcomed to send me their comments. You do not like it, sorry, I will double your money back. Just send me a copy of your invoice.
I create my sceneries in summer recommended for best results.
If I find a way to improve an item or a texture, even if this item or texture is used in a previous release, I reserve the right to change it anytime.

I N S T A L L A T I O N FOR ALL MY QUEBEC SHORT HOPS SCENERIES
MESH AND SCENERY ENHANCEMENT: This scenery was made to be compatible and used with Gilles Gauthier's fine FREEWARE mesh and scenery enhancement. To see it properly you must have the following files. Easy to install instructions in the downloads and it will not cost you a cent.
The files you need to install from Gilles Gauthier are:
WARNING: THIS SCENERY WAS MADE USING THE FILES MENTIONED HERE.
qclod09a.zip to qclod09e.zip This is the main mesh for the Province. It was made originally for FS2002 but is perfect in FS2004 as well.
and,
IlesStLaurentQC.zip This is the St.Lawrence River islands terrain and scenery enhancement (FS2004 only)
You can get all the files by making a search for author "Gilles Gauthier". I suggest you search for the author's name only and do not specify any category. This way you get the FS2002 and the FS2004 files in one search.
CAUTION: I repeat, I have no idea what will hapen if you use the new version of those mesh. You best install the ones mentioned.

If you do not have a Quebec Short Hops folder "Quebec SH9" where you usually install these sceneries, you must make one and make also one subfolder named scenery and another named texture.
You should then have:
xxxxxxx/Quebec SH9/scenery
/texture
As many of my textures are repeated from one scene to the other, this will use lot less room on your hard drive. Just thought of another advantage doing it this way; when FS2006 comes out, all you will have to do is paste and copy the whole thing in your new version of FS, activate only that file in the library and 'voilà', you wlll be ready to fly. (sic)
During installation overwrite when prompted to do so.
1- Place the CONTENTS ONLY of the scenery folder in the above scenery folder you created.
2- Then, do the same with the CONTENTS ONLY of the texture folder to go into the texture folder.
3- Place the CONTENTS ONLY of the Addon Scenery folder (if any is included with the download) into:
xxxxxxx/Flight Simulator 9/Addon Scenery/Scenery
4- Place the CONTENTS ONLY of the effects folder (if any is included with the download) in the Effects folder of your Flight Simulator.
You need to activate Quebec SH9 in the scenery library if not already done.
